A vision for St Thomas' School
Together in God’s love, we learn, inspire and grow’‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ Matthew 22
Our Christian Values; Friendship, Peace, Love, Forgiveness, Compassion and Thankfulness, chosen by all stakeholders to truly reflect our community, guide us and are at the heart of all we do at St Thomas’. They represent who we are and are central to our relationships with our children, their families and the wider community. It is through a strong relationship with God that our children can properly reflect our Christian Values.
Through a creative, meaningful and challenging curriculum co-designed with the children and a stimulating environment, we aim for our children to be happy, confident and thoughtful learners who are proud of their achievements and understanding of their place in the world.
We want them to become independent thinkers and collaborative workers who are well-prepared to be contributing members of society ready for life in the modern world – academically, physically, socially, spiritually and creatively.
We are committed to working as a team, encouraging all members of the school community to share in our aims and support us in persevering to achieve our highest aspirations for all our children.
Our policies reflect this vision and are available here as pdf files for you to read if you wish.
